A failed post shows a red status in the calendar with the provider's error message attached.
Most common causes
- Expired channel authorization. The most frequent cause. Reconnect under Settings → Channels.
- Media rejected by the network. Aspect ratio, duration, or file size exceeded the platform's limits. Replace the asset and retry.
- Rate limits. Too many posts published to one profile in a short window. Orbit360 retries automatically after a cooldown.
- Text length. Copy that fits one channel may exceed another's limit. Use per-channel variants in the composer.
Republishing
Open the failed post, correct the issue, and choose Retry now or Reschedule. Retrying never creates a duplicate; Orbit360 tracks the provider post ID and refuses to send twice.
If a post shows as failed in Orbit360 but is live on the network, use Mark as published to reconcile the record.
