Approval workflows
When to use one
Enable approvals when more than one person is accountable for what goes out — regulated industries, agency-client relationships, or any team where an Editor is not the final word.
Building a workflow
In Settings → Approvals, create a workflow with one to three stages. For each stage set the approvers and whether any approver or all approvers must sign off.
Workflows are scoped: apply one to a channel, a campaign, or the whole workspace. The most specific scope wins.
The reviewer experience
Reviewers get an email and an in-app task. They can approve, request changes with a comment anchored to a specific line or asset, or reject. Requested changes return the item to Draft and notify the author.
Guarantees
A post inside a workflow cannot be scheduled or published until every stage has passed. Editing an approved item after approval resets it to the first unapproved stage — silent post-approval edits are not possible.
Audit trail
Every state change is recorded with actor, timestamp, and comment, and is exportable from Settings → Audit log.
