Connecting Your Social Media Accounts
Connecting your social media accounts is one of the first steps to getting the most out of Orbit360. Once connected, you can plan, schedule, publish, monitor engagement, and track performance across multiple platforms from a single workspace.
Orbit360 currently supports Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, with additional integrations being added over time.
Before you begin
Before connecting an account, make sure you:
- Have administrator access to the social media account or Page.
- Are signed in to the correct account.
- Have completed any required two-factor authentication.
Connecting your accounts
To connect a social media account:
- From the left navigation menu, click Connections.
- Select Brand Connections.
- Click Connect Account.
- Choose the social platform you want to connect.
- Sign in through the platform's secure authorization page.
- Review and approve the requested permissions.
- Select the Page, profile, or organization you want Orbit360 to manage.
- Click Finish.
Your connected accounts will immediately be available for publishing, scheduling, analytics, and team collaboration.
Managing connected accounts
You can manage all connected accounts from Connections → Brand Connections. From here, you can connect additional accounts, reconnect accounts with expired authorization, or disconnect accounts you no longer wish to manage. If a platform requires renewed permissions, Orbit360 will notify you so you can restore the connection without disrupting your workflow.
Security and privacy
Orbit360 never stores your social media login credentials. Every connection is established using secure OAuth authentication provided by each social platform, ensuring your data remains protected while granting Orbit360 only the permissions you explicitly approve.
Troubleshooting and support
If you're unable to connect an account, confirm that you have administrator access, are signed in to the correct profile, and that your browser allows the authorization window to open. If your connection has expired, simply reconnect the account from Connections → Brand Connections.
If the issue persists, our support team is here to help. Contact Orbit360 Support with details of the social platform you're trying to connect, the account type, and any error messages you receive so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
What's next?
Your social accounts are now connected and ready to use. The next step is to invite your teammates so you can collaborate on content, approvals, and publishing.
