Scheduling Your First Post

Scheduling posts in Orbit360 helps you maintain a consistent publishing schedule without having to post manually. Once your content is ready, you can choose exactly when you want it to be published, allowing you to plan weeks or even months of content in advance.

Scheduling a Post

After creating your post, click Schedule at the bottom of the post composer.

Select your preferred publishing date and time, then confirm your schedule. Orbit360 will automatically publish your content to the selected social media accounts at the scheduled time.

If your workspace uses an approval workflow, scheduled posts will only be published after they have been approved.

Managing Scheduled Posts

All scheduled posts can be viewed from the Calendar and Publish modules.

From there, you can:

  • View upcoming scheduled content.
  • Edit scheduled posts before they are published.
  • Reschedule posts to a different date or time.
  • Cancel or delete scheduled posts.
  • Monitor publishing status.

Any changes you make are automatically reflected across your publishing calendar.

Publishing Status

Orbit360 keeps you informed throughout the publishing process.

Status What it means
Scheduled The post is waiting for its scheduled publishing time.
Pending Approval The post requires approval before it can be published.
Published The post was successfully published.
Failed The post could not be published and requires your attention.

You can review publishing activity from both the Publish module and your dashboard.

Best Practices

For the best results, schedule your content in advance, review your posts before confirming the schedule, and ensure your connected social accounts remain authorized. Regularly checking your publishing calendar can also help you avoid content conflicts and maintain a consistent posting cadence.
